The article demonstrates that dry eye syndrome is remaining a pressing issue at present and leads to vision deterioration decrease in the quality of life. Among its causes there are autoimmune disorders, environmental impact, contact lens wearing, hormonal changes, chronic inflammation, infections, iatrogenic factors. Dry known as one most common pathological conditions modern ophthalmology primarily associated with active daily use digital devices, people start experiencing visual fatigue 4 hours after working display. This study has demonstrated multifactorial disease different phenotypic consequences; therefore, animal models valuable tool for appropriate studies lacrimal gland still providing best understanding this pathology humans. aim develop method preparation glands laboratory rat (extraorbital, infraorbital Harderian ones) further morphological studies. describes elaboration new proposed extraorbital, horizontal frontal planes also enables investigate their topographic features. investigation will focus on morphology comparison human glands.
